| Description | rideAlong is an FS25 multiplayer-focused moving platform prototype. Current build contents: - server-authoritative rider state framework - shared train/vehicle support architecture - attach/detach/correction event scaffolding - mission/player update hooks - design spec included in docs/ This prototype now uses support-relative attachment as the primary movement model. While attached, the player position is rebuilt from the current support surface plus a local offset, support handoff can occur across connected attached equipment, short accidental movement at the edge is blocked, and continued input can intentionally break the edge barrier to dismount. Jumping now uses a short reattach grace window instead of immediate hard detach. It is still an early prototype. |
